North Star Diagnostic & Repair Services
We service and repair North Star RT8 and related systems and components, including severely damaged and defective units. Our services for the North Star RT8 include diagnostic evaluation, troubleshooting, component and board level repair, as well as complete rebuilding of the RT8 if necessary. Expedited handling of our evaluations and repairs are included as a standard service for all our clients. All our RT8 repairs include a 1 year warranty, covering both parts and labor.

Winter 2025 Update: Since December 2022 the supply chain strictures have fortunately eased, with less stress on product delivery due dates. Our teams at YORK have been able to ramp up our service response times with expedited shipment schedules back to normal, providing replacement parts and services following normal response times. Expanded Service and Repair Support for New Product Lines: We offer full support for discontinued Northstar products, including obsoleted and phased-out Nvent-Hoffman parts and systems, as well as the all-new for 2025 Nsk product line-up. Starting Q1 2025 YORK is pleased to announce additional repair and rebuild services for the automation products made by industrial controls leader Northstar such as the 1147910006 spares. Related to this we have added to our service line-up the 27028 manufactured by Nvent-Hoffman and we are pleased to be able to service most Nvent-Hoffman systems and parts. Due to increased demand we now feature W407 by Manufacturer Nsk as well.
York Scientific's New & Featured Automation Replacement Parts: Starting early January 2025 York has Numatics Brand SARK in stock, original and quality replacement parts available for immediate dispatch to meet your requirement for spare replacements. Spare units by Num such as 73056 equipment made by Num have been added to our featured items. As a tip, you can find the entire Num products line-up in our inventory by simply searching for "Num" in the search box. Additionally we have now also available BL25E20T made by Okuma as well as the popular W1403 original spares produced by Nsk
Servo Motors, Spindles, and Electric Motors Rewinding and Rebuilding. We have expanded capacity at our service centers to do complete overhauls of industrial electric motors and spindles. Refurbishment processes are held to stringent QA standards to adhere to or exceed manufacturer's specifications. Overhauls include motor bearing replacement, stator rewinding, and rebalancing. Additional overhaul and rebuilding capabilities of products such as the ESAY3040T23 by Nsk and 73056 spares by Num are also now also our York Scientific's line-up of service offerings. This also includes the original NAH20ANZ Spares made by industrial controls and automation manufacturer Nsk.
